Professor Janzen is trained in comparative literature and focuses on German and Latin American literature. 

Teaching Interests: Literature of Human Rights, World Literature, Introduction to Peace and Conflict Studies, 20th century German literature, Literary Theory.
Research Interests: Anna Seghers, Literature of Human Rights, Solidarity, World Literature, Authorship.
